1, Tape waterproofing method
Tape waterproofing method is a commonly used method for waterproofing cable joints, and the use of insulating tape can effectively prevent water damage. When operating, first wrap the joint with insulation tape three to four times, and then use a tensile tool to tighten it. The staggered operation helps to avoid gaps and ensure complete coverage of the joint.
2, Epoxy resin waterproofing method
Epoxy resin waterproofing method is a relatively reliable waterproofing method, and the use of epoxy resin has a good waterproofing effect. When operating, first cut the cable clean with force, then apply epoxy resin to the surface of the joint, and pay attention to isolating between each cable. The drying time is about 2 hours. After the epoxy resin is completely dried, a waterproof joint box can be added to achieve better waterproof effect.
3, Waterproof joint box method
The waterproof joint box method is another commonly used waterproofing method, which can enhance mechanical protection and waterproof effect by using waterproof joint boxes. When operating, first remove a part of the outer skin of the cable, and then install two corresponding plugs in the waterproof joint box. One plug contacts the other to form a path for the entire circuit. Next, insert the cable into the waterproof joint box and secure it. The cable can be fixed using screws, fasteners, or other methods, taking care to prevent bending and pulling of the cable. Finally, use waterproof adhesive pads to provide additional waterproof protection and achieve a complete waterproof effect.
