1. Welding: also known as fusion, is a manufacturing process and technology that uses heating, high temperature or high pressure to join metals or other thermoplastic materials such as plastics. There are many sources of energy for modern welding, including gas flame, arc, laser, electron beam, friction and ultrasonic waves.
2. Pipeline connection methods According to the purpose and pipe material, the commonly used connection methods for building pipes are: threaded connection, flange connection, welding, groove connection (clamp connection), sleeve connection, compression connection, hot melt connection, etc.
3. There are threaded connection, flange connection, socket twist connection, welding, PE pipe welding, PVC pipe bonding, PPR pipe socket hot melt welding, pipe fitting lock connection, and non-standard polyethylene pipe heating socket connection.
4. Threaded connection: Threaded connection is connected by threaded pipe fittings. Galvanized steel pipes with a diameter less than or equal to 100mm should be connected by threaded connection, which is mostly used for exposed pipes. Steel-plastic composite pipes are generally also connected by threads.
