Stainless Steel Socket Welded Pipe Fittings
Jan 20, 2026
Stainless steel socket welding involves inserting the stainless steel pipe into the socket of the fitting and pushing it against the positioning step of the socket. A circular argon-protected fusion weld is then performed along the contact point between the end of the fitting socket and the outer wall of the pipe. No welding wire is used during welding (the edge of the fitting socket is used instead), making it a "jointless connection" pipe connection method.
Features of Stainless Steel Socket Welded Piping Systems:
1. The stainless steel socket welded piping system is a new type of thin-walled stainless steel piping system developed by organically combining the advantages of both traditional socket and welded connection methods.
2. Stainless steel socket welding is a recognized "jointless connection" method, offering significant advantages in connection strength and sealing performance compared to other connection methods.
3. Stainless steel socket welding does not require welding wire; the edge of the fitting socket is used instead. This not only creates a seamless connection of the pipe material but also saves on welding consumables and increases welding speed.
4. Stainless steel socket welded piping systems have a wide range of applications, suitable for outdoor public places and indoor exposed or concealed installations, especially suitable for wall-embedded and pipe shaft applications.
